Opalescence™ Endo is a fast and easy internal bleaching treatment designed specifically to whiten non-vital, endodontically treated, discolored teeth.
Designed for the “walking bleach” technique, Opalescence Endo from Ultradent Products Inc., comes in a conveniently pre-filled syringe, requiring very little preparation or chair-time. The special, 35% hydrogen peroxide whitening gel is sealed in the coronal portion of the pulp chamber to whiten the tooth from the inside out. Opalescence Endo is activated by body temperature and is left in the tooth for 3-5 days.
IMPORTANT: Prior to placing Opalescence Endo, a glass ionomer must be placed to the level of the CEJ to prevent peroxide from entering the pulp canals.
